Coffee in USA Part 2 Out of 58 countries and cities, the following are the 20 largest countries that imported coffee bean of North Sumatra Province of Indonesia (presented in decending order): USA, JAPAN, GERMANY, SINGAPORE, MALAYSIA, CANADA, BELGIUM, UNITED KINGDOM, INDIA, TAIWAN, AUSTRALIA, ITALY, KOREA, MEXICO, BULGARIA, NETHERLAND, NEW ZEALAND, IRELAND, EGYPT and CHINA. The USA contributed 47,86% to total export quantity and 50.85% to total export value of coffee bean of North Sumatra Province.       The contribution of 58 countries and cities to total export quantity (100%) as well as to total export value (100%) of exported coffee bean of North Sumatra Province are presented in the following: 01. Coffee in USA Coffee in USA is very high demanded.  Total exports of coffee bean of year 2005 to 2010 (6 years) from North Sumatera of Indonesia was  377,121.6 tons with value US$  1,171,015,126; or in average 62,853.6 tons/year and US$ 195,2 Million per year. Nearly all of those exported coffee bean were coffee bean of North Sumatera (see  Data of Coffee of North Sumatera Province of Indonesia ), and only a small amount came from other provinces. The followings are the name of 58 countries and cities of the world which imports coffee bean from North Sumatera of Indonesia.  The quantity is in ton, and the value is in US$ 000, totally 6 years (2005-2010).  For example, Al Geria imported 165.6 tons with value US$ 253,700 total of 6 years (2005-2010).  The complete list  is the following. 01. Data of Coffee of North Sumatra Province of Indonesia Data of coffee production, FOB, planting area and productivity of North Sumatra Province of Indonesia are as followings. North Sumatera produced 58,965 ton of coffee bean in year 2005, and 63,269 (2006), 71,444 (2007), 62,888 (2008), and 67,318 (2009) due to BPS of North Sumatra (North Sumatra In Figure, 2010). I estimate the production was in amount of 60,126 tons for year 2010. FOB Value was US$ 164,129,000 (2005), 176,500,000 (2006), 216,664,000 (2007), 211,007,000 (2008) and 203,646,000 (2009). I estimate the FOB value was US$ 193,000,000 due to decrease production amids the increase price.  By excluding the production of  the big coffee estates, production of coffee smallholders estates were: (a) Total production of arabica coffee bean in North Sumatera Province were 41,790 (2005), 38,524 (2006), 42,223 (2007), 39,268 (2008), and 45,483 (2009),  and (b) Total production of robusta coffee bean in North Sumater

Coffee Bean’s Peak Harvest Season 2011      Coffee bean's peak harvest season in April-May 2011 in North Sumatera Province of Indonesia did not happen, and the peak harvest season in October-November  2011 seems to happen but still needs to be firmed on the next surveys by NSCF.  The NSCF welcomes other parties who want to joint in the next surveys conducted by NSCF. If you want to participate in the next surveys and if you order or request the data, then you will surely be the first party who will receive the data which will  be  emailed  di rectly  as soon as possible to you .
